Banteay Srei was built largely of red sandstone with elaborate decorative wall carvings, some which are the most elaborate and well preserved of all the Angkorian temples.

Along the way, we’ll visit 12th century Beantey Samre temple. The temple was constructed around the same time as Angkor Wat with some carvings still in excellent condition.The trip will also go to Kbal Spean, a site with a series of carvings built into the river bed commonly referred to as “Valley of a 1000 Lingas” or “River of a 1000 Lingas”. Beng Mealea – $105 Beng Mealea is an overgrown jungle temple outside of Siem Reap. Getting there, we will take the back roads, passing along rice fields and through local remote villages. Much of Beng Mealea’s history remains unknown, but it can be dated by its architectural style, similar to that of the Angkor Wat era. Scholars believe it was built in the 12th century. Today, much of the temple is engulfed by the natural forest surrounding the area making it a great place to explore as you discover this ancient treasure. BOOK NOW!
