Experience the Cambodian countryside, a boat ride on an ancient hand-made lake, the silk farm and a forgotten temple on the Jeep Explorer tour.

See first-hand the process of the Cambodian silk production and discover how silk is traditionally worked in Cambodia. The silk farm gives you an insight into one of the oldest crafts in Cambodia.

Afterwards, we visit West Baray, an 11th century hand-made lake built during the Angkor era. Recent studies reveal that the lake was built primarily as a symbolic function depicting of the Hindu Sea of Creation. Today, many locals visit the lake to swim or relax in bamboo huts on the waters edge.

The tour also goes through the countryside and stops for lunch at a local restaurant. Along the way you’ll pass through remote villages and drive along rice fields to gain a better insight into the rural life and culture.

As the Jeep tour continues we will make our way to a remote temple. After a short hike, we’ll explore this hidden temple before heading back to Siem Reap.
